Marvel Distribution, a large Russian IT distributor, says there is a new player in Russia’s home appliance market – CHiQ, a brand owned by China’s Changhong Meiling Co. The company will officially export new products from China to Russia.
Marvel Distribution will supply basic and mid-priced CHiQ refrigerators, freezers and washing machines, the company’s press office said. It is possible to increase the models of home appliances in the future.
CHiQ belongs to Changhong Meiling Co., LTD. CHiQ is one of the top five home appliance makers in China, according to Marvel Distribution. Russia plans to supply 4,000 appliances per quarter in the first phase.According to Russian media reports, these appliances will in each big market sales, not only in Vsesmart chain store sales, will also by Marvel several areas Distribution of the company’s sales partners. Marvel Distribution will provide service and warranties to its customers through authorized service centers throughout Russia.
CHiQ refrigerators start at 33,000 rubles, washing machines at 20,000 rubles and freezers at 15,000 yuan. The new product has been published on the Ozon and Wildberries websites. The first deliveries will begin on March 6.
Wildberries, an e-commerce platform, said it is studying consumers’ interest and will consider expanding its product range if consumers are interested.
