Beijing, April 4 (Xinhua) — On the afternoon of April 4, Premier Li Qiang had a phone conversation with Russian Prime Minister Yuri Mishustin.

Li Qiang said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination in the new era has maintained a high level of development. China-russia relations adhere to the principles of non-alignment, non-confrontation and not targeting any third party, mutual respect, mutual trust and mutual benefit, which not only promote their own development and rejuvenation, but also uphold international fairness and justice.

Li stressed that President Xi Jinping’s recent successful visit to Russia and President Putin jointly drew up a new blueprint for the development of bilateral relations, pointing out a new direction for bilateral cooperation.China is willing to work closely with Russia, Li said, calling ongovernment departments of the two countries to implement the importantconsensus reached by the two heads of state and push for new progressin China-Russia practical cooperation.

Mishustin said that Russia-China relations are based on international law and the principle of diversification, and are an important factor in ensuring global peace and stability.
